n. pl. [Gr. arche, beginning; pherein, to carry]
(PLATYHELMINTHES: Turbellaria)
1. Individuals with modified cleavage in which yolk is stored in the oocytes; entolecithal eggs; see neophorans.
2. Archoophora A former division of the Tubellaria; a superorder.
